La sémiosis et l’interprétation dans la « métaphysique scientifique » de Peirce
Abstracts
The article presents the main aspects of the peircian approach, thus seizing the opportunity to clarify potential misunderstandings of “pragmatism” and of the relation with metaphysics of an American philosopher widely unknown in France. The first place given to semiotics, in an analysis of what a sign is, –which differs from that of de Saussure– drives at a rational and realistic access to reality; it also escapes the individualistic risk of the phenomenological approach and gains the dimension of an anthropology which is not without a link with the thought of Castoriadis.
